Born Mark Edward Fischbach, to Cliffton Fischbach and his wife, Sunok Frank, on June 28, 1989, in Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii, United States of America, Markiplier is currently 35 years old. Family, Education 

Following his parents’ divorce, Markiplier and his older brother, Jason Thomas Fischbach, were transferred from the private high school they attended to Milford High School. Meanwhile, a source confirmed that their family home was sold to raise money for their education. Mark graduated with a High School Diploma in 2007 at the age of 18. 

A year after he graduated high school, his father, Clifton, who had been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, passed away on the Friday morning of July 4, 2008. In his last moments, his family was surrounded by his family and well, Mark once revealed that his father’s final words to him were “I love you, so much.”

Already enrolled in the University of Cincinnati, studying Biomedical Engineering, Markiplier dropped out before his program was done to focus on his YouTube video creation career. While he was still in high school, he says he and his brother were often bullied by some of his White teachers and students because of their Korean heritage.
